Postby G » Tue May 27, 2008 9:27 pm

The late mail is Jack Cahill has pulled or is about to pull the pin on the Panthers.
ps. Dont forget I was 24 hours ahead of the media when Pyman got the flick.

Who would then take the reins of the seniors if the legendary jack Cahill leaves the club ???

Surely not the underperforming reserves coach, Slatts...

Maybe they'll be on the phone to try and get Cornsey back into coaching, or even Nuckles might be able to fill the void 'til the years end ???

Seriously though, you would have to say despite having very minimal coaching experience, great Panther club man Clay Sampson would fit the bill perfectly...

South's have done it again! Huge money ($75K) for Cahill for a few weeks, a bit of hype and Whammee, he's off like a smelly jockstrap. Me thinks the Board might have some questions to answer over this

So what happens with the contract though if it is Jack who pulls the pin...

Surely, South wouldn't have to pay the FULL contract out, there would have to be some kind of clause in the agreement...

Surely that wouldn't happen Bayman ?? How bad would that look. Anyway why would you go from 1 losing side to another ? How accurate is this rumour ?

You'd be sick of coaching too if you had to put up with South's culture.

Well when he first got there he said he wanted to change their culture ? If this rumour is true he should be embarrassed. As far as Souths culture is concerned I made some points about that on another thread. They just kep passing the baton over to people that have the same culture so nothing is achieved.

They are an absolute rabble and will be for a long time. They just about need a board in the waiting ( NON SOUTHIES) to throw them over and start again. I reckon this may get ugly.

Cahill knew he'd never be able to overtake Oatey. Weak as piss both parties.
