I think the South v Sturt game might be changed to a 10am start.

Largest margin was 24 points I believe.

That third quarter was one of the most brilliant quarters of U/17s footy I've seen for some time. Norwood kept charging and charging, but that missed goal on the 3QT siren took the sting out of them.

Also heard that Port beat Glenelg by around 140 points, 180 odd to 40 odd.

No, I don't as I wasn't concerned with the Norwood players.

Given sturt was 9-0 heading into the round, that's an extraordinary effort by south's youngsters to get within four goals when they normally have a habit of losing by 15 goals in these type of matches.

Pretty even comp so far:
Sturt 10-0
Port 7-3
North 6-3
W/WT 6-4
West 4-6
---------
South 4-5
Glenelg 3-6-1
Norwood 2-8
Centrals 1-8-1
Sturt is far and away the best side this season which just carries on after finishing top last year. Although it's usually common for oscillating results between each year at U/17s. Port, North and W/WT are all pretty even this season and it'll be a battle between West and South for fifth place; Panthers to probably (hopefully) grab that spot. Glenelg is once again suffering at the hands of independent schools. Norwood is one of the more better U/17s teams in recent years to only have two wins after 10 games.

Their skip for sure (Sam Hoff..something? .. #14), provided the toughness in the contested situations the Legs needed after their poor start.
Shame the budget doesn't continue to publish underage teams after they did last year.

They had us in the southern stand, we are usually in the other rooms. Don't know where we are this week.
