I remember Sturt beating Port by 20 goal at Unley when I was a lad. The great Jubo kicked 10 , she was packed. Come on blues !!
We should win well.
Some talk early about flag favourites from Bay supporters. Well you now share that mantle with the Dogs. Yes its a bit of extra pressure , but your first finals appearance last year in 7 years should hold you in good stead.

Sturt should win well, as my side Port has injury concerns and aren't playing team footy for 4 qtrs.
Sturt by 41-50.

Bayman my sincere apologies for the spelling mistake, Jumbo , I think you know him bud.
Mate I have to laugh at the mothballs, cause you guys pumped Sturt up as being flag fav's ( short for favourites mate P 315 of my Collins ,notice the capital for a name , Dictionary ) and we all knew it was the bookies , but now you are justifying who the flag favourites are & why ?? Sounds like your'e making a rod for your own back mate , long season , long season. Carn the mothballs !!
Where is Wall, anybody seen him ?

Port can't play more than 30mins of good footy. Very reliant on J. Clayton & no option up forward other than Hargy, until they get some players that can present up fwd & not play so one dimentional putting huge pressure on Hargy week in week out, they may start kicking bigger scores & registering more wins.
Opposition sides arn't finding it to hard down back as Port are so easy to read.
This week with no Clayton they may find themselves on the end of a big hiding at Unley.

Sturt will want to have a good win especially with the team of the 68 premiership side going to be at the ground and sturt will be wearing a special jumper for the day, sturt will win by 41-50 points.

I dont give Port any chance at all. For i side who dont know how to play FOR each other, injuries are an easy excuse to their poor performances.

Yes, I was there too, squashed up against the fence at the front of the cheersquad. But he actually kicked 11 that day, and 15 the week before against top of the table and previously undefeated West Adelaide!
What a bloody champ!
GO YOU BLUES!!!!

come on the blues...
port are going to bring a better competition than west so we need to be on our game and improve even on last week's effort.
sturt should win but thats only cause if we are going to be a contender, need to start winning like one. hopefully a few lads get back some form and chambo can play and they all lift that little extra for his 150th!!!

Need a big effort. It is a worry when we can put sides away by big margins, but then suddenly get contained without even looking like winners. We have to build some consistency and exercise more control over our fate. On current form we should belt the Magpies though.
