Still...a handy side, but the argument remains that most other clubs could name a half decent side of players that have gone to the AFL.

The only difference between West and the Eagles losing so many is that West lost 5 - 6 in one year and most of them played in the 2003 GF...Unfortunately the Honorable Mr Rehn and Co. did not recruit well enough after to replace them and decided to stick mainly with juniors. But as we all have seen the cream was taken and what was left were not good enough to go on to play league footy. (well, not enough good juniors anyway).
