Not a bad idea, I work in town on Pultney St and have been known to drink at the Historian, the Office, Players, the Wakefield, Coopers Pale House and the London Tavern.
Apologies to the other pubs in town, I was too drunk to remember when I drank there.
I actually prefer days other than Friday and Tuesday as I leave early those days, not long enough for the alcohol to get through the system!

Yup, that was me who suggested that last time. We ended up meeting at Raglans on Waymouth Street (as the union was being sold/renovated AGAIN) and it was great. I'm on Pirie Street - almost everything is close (inc. what Wedgie mentioned)

I'm not far from Wedges Wedginald either...any of those pubs are a winner...preferably the Historian or the London.

I would be keen for Friday having a beer or more, as having RDO from work or Tuesday lunch time- IR action on North TCE.

I don't mind the Historian as a pub, yuppies or no yuppies - it's just too SMALL on a Friday afternoon!

That's why you book a table! Never had a prob there on a Friday arvo.
I usually drink at the Office, Wakefield, St Pauls or the Coopers Ale House but I do usually trek to the London Tavern occasionally on a Friday to have lunch with rm, would need to book a table there if there was a group though.

The Morphey (emu) or the Meningie Hotel. Some good characters in both. Did a sort of pub crawl with my brother in 85. Had a drink in every licensed premises fro Pt. Agutter to Darwin. Baulked a bit at the Coober Pedy and Elliott, but couldnt break the rythm. Took us four weeks and two days butt.

I'll be having lunch and a few beers at the Office between 12 and 1 (maybe longer) today if anyone's in the vicinity.

We should all try to get together at the Union on Waymouth, it is now open as it has been renovated!

I know it's a bit "out of the way" but my mate is playing accoustic at the Queens Arms this Friday from 5:30pm onwards... and I'm walking up there for the night. So if anyone is around the area - feel free to drop in for a beer!
