While I would not normally agree with Glenelg fans well maybe bayman .
I would have to agree with LBT at present .If my beloved Eagles do beat sturt then you can say they are back .
IF is a very big word in footy !!
OH perhaps Spelly could list all the years Port have beaten the EAGLEs in the early part of the season .Sorry but Port beating the EAGLES in the first 6 rounds is nothing NEW.Even in 2006 I would have thought .

LBT I thought we had problems when West kicked the first three !!!
No one is expecting the EAGLES to win next week so you know what that means![]()

It's too easy to just say Eagles have only beaten Norwood and West Adelaide, but they won with Passador up at full forward. Having a goalscoring target up forward makes all the difference. It straightens a team up and makes them more direct. I think the Eagles are a good side, and could well be in the action come finals in 2008.

This stat actually surprised me, the only time that we have beaten Port in the first six rounds was in 1994 (Round 6). And the only other two times that we have beaten Port in the first meeting was in 2004 and 2005 - both Round 8. Subsquently in the next meeting after those matches were losses.
