Thank you Central, thank you.
Still can't believe I could get $1.25 for the straight win and even money for 30.5 in, easiest money Ive made since the AFL Grand Final last year when you could give 100 points in and still win!
A bad week for North but a good week for my wallet.

The first half was pretty sloppy with plenty of skill errors for both sides. Richard Williams' umpiring only added to the poor quality of the first half.
Norwood started the third quarter in style, kicking the first goal within the first 30 seconds. They then forgot they still needed to play another half of football, as they kicked 0.2 for the rest of the game. Centrals kept playing a negative, flooding-style game for the start of the third quarter and a very ugly game was losing (I don't understand why Centrals need to play this style of game as it does not suit them at all). Several times in the first hald and strart of the third quarter Centrals would lose possession at half-forward or inside 50 as they had no-one there.
Then Centrals switched on, and started to play the attacking style of football that's won them 6 premierships. From there it was all Centrals, kicking the last 10 goals of the game to run out 71 point winners 17.13.115 to 6.8.44.
Norwood like to have mass defensive leaks against Centrals. Centrals have kicked 10+ consecutive goals against Norwood in 3 of their last 4 meetings
Norwood's second half fadeouts have to be a major concern now. They kicked 0 goals against Sturt after half time in round 1, and tonight they kicked 1 goal in the second half (and that was 30 seconds into the third quarter).

With Schell a late withdrawal and Cowan already out thought we were a little makeshift early, MacKenzie at CHB and Lawrie in ruck isn't going to happen too often. But as we got on top the confidence seemed to return and the longer it went the better we got. Good debut by Mathew Westhoff, very agile and could be a handful as a third or fourth tall up front.

Good to see Cameron Faulkner finally make his league debut. Certainly looked to have his silky skills on show at times tonight. Just needs more match practice before he starts polling Magarey votes!
Great games by Callinan, Slade, Leigh Westhoff and Thomas.
Very good debut by Matthew Westhoff.
In the reserves (which we won by 9 points) Steiny got another match under his belt and Noodles (Ware) had his first run for the season. Expect those two to be in the league team soon. Porter and Duncan also looked like they have what it takes to make the league team sometime.
Cheers

Oh, I should also add that Jonathon Giles won about 90% of the taps in the Ressies.
Cheers

If Jonathon Giles is surplus to Centrals needs, SEND HIM TO PROSPECT.
He can ruck all day if he wants as anything is better than the plebs North put on the park.

Spelly, have the eagles ever started a season 0/4 let alone 0/3?

Norwood's season has seen to be king hit by a brickwall.
Alot of Norwood fans made the treck out North. They were very well represented by their fans tonight.
