Soon as I saw the team posters I almost vomitted.
The yellow sash looks wider now too but Im not sure if that's just an optical illusion or not since its been turned into an advertising banner.
IMHO its taken to another disagree disrespecting the actual football guernsey.
If North had a sponsor going up and down the Vee and made it wider to accomdate the sponsor I'd be calling for heads.
so having a sponsor across the V like north is OK?
the Glenelg jumper this year looks much much better than previous years like a blue and white sponsor logo which actually covers the sash....see below....this one blends in beautifully and doesnt interupt the sash at all....

I didn't say its OK but North don't put a white background to their sponsors name and just blend it in with the jumper.
The Glenelg jumper in the pic you show in that pic does look a hell of a lot better than the one at the minute though.
Best effort would be if they just put it straight but blended it into the guernsey without a white background.
Glenelg's old guernsey had the sponsor over about a quarter of the guernsey, it now looks like its over 90% of the guernsey.
Port and Norwood do it OK as do other clubs, Central's guernsey always add the sponsor stylishly and South's mixes in nicely with their jumper. Its not rocket science, Glenelg's is the worst in the league easily IMHO, would have been equal last previously but has left daylight behind now. Other guernseys look like the sponsor's label has been designed for the guernsey, Glenelg's guernsey now looks like its been designed for the sponsor's label. No respect and I'd be surprised if Glenelg greats like Bones and Studley weren't up in arms about it.
IMHO the only 'OK' thing is to have a small badge like the AFL does.
