The trials are now over and finally the time for the real stuff to start has arrived. After the 4 weeks of trials what can we gauge from the form. Who looks the team to beat. Will CDFC still be up there yet again. Can North take one step further and celebrate a premiership for the first time in 17 years. What impact will the retirements have on the Eagles, will they start to fall or can the new recruits take them further than last season. Will the Tigers improve even further or are they a one season wonder due to fall back to earth and out of top 5. Will Sturt be able to maintain form all season and reward themselves with the double chance. What will Trevor Hill's boys on Parade have to offer in 2008. Will Andy Collins be the saviour down Richmond way or will the under perform yet again and maintain their hold on wooden spoon. Jack's back what can he bring to Noarlunga. Are the Maggies on the march again or will they continue their indifferent ways.

All I know is footy's back - I'm looking towards the season opener at the Parade. Can't wait - bring it on.

No it hasn't yet. Dogs fans said that in 2002 and 2006.

I'd like to think that the Eagles would still be around the mark. Nothing less than finals should be accepted I want to see another top 3 finish.

Still undecided. The Crows or the Eagles. Will make my decision closer to weekend. Leaning slightly towards the Eagles I think not certain though.
