We're using the same website to host our tipping as last year: http://www.mysportstips.net

If you were in the competition last year no need to re-register you can just log in using the account you set up last year.
If you weren't in the competition last year go to the http://www.mysportstips.net site and click on JOIN, its free of charge!

Once you get into or create your account click on "JOIN COMP" and put in the following details when asked:
Competition Number: 10114
Competition Password: SAFooty

Rules are simple, you get 1 point for a win, 1 point for a draw (if chosen), 0 points for a loss.
If you forget to put your tips in you get the same score as the lowest person that entered their tips.
If you pick a perfect round you will get a bonus point.
As per last year the top 10 at the end of the minor round will be eligible for the finals of tipping carrying over their scores.
Bonus point will not occur during finals.

Tips for each round close 5 minutes before the first game of the round.

To avoid forgetting to put your tips in or if you fear having problems with the http://www.mysportstips.net if in a rush to get your tips in I have entered the entire season already so you can go through and put all your picks for the year. You can change them at any time so this would be a good way to avoid disappointment if you forget to put your tips in.

Prizes will be determined later in the year but as a guide this was the prizes we gave out last year:
$100 Gift Voucher for the First Bounce
$50 Gift Voucher for the First Bounce
$25 Gift Voucher for the First Bounce

If anyone notices an error in the fixtures please advise me and if anyone has any problems or queries also feel free to ask.

Enjoy the competition folks!

Wedgie.

Good to see this comp open again, I've just signed up.

Only 1 point for picking a draw is a bit rough ;)

Yeah I mulled over that as all the rules are changable, I originally had 5 points for a draw but didn't like the idea of people using the draw to try and fluke their way near the top towards the end of the season.

Even if people pick all 4 games as a draw, and a draw was worth 5 points, they'd still have a far lower chance than 20% of getting a draw that round. But there IS still a (very small) chance they might fluke the draw; makes it more fun.

The main reason for the tipping comp is for fun, you'd reckon. Maybe if 5 points grates, at least 3 points for the draw. By having 1 point only, no one would EVER choose a draw, and it kind of eliminates a bit of the sillier side, which would be unfortunate.
