Anyone going down to have a look? It'll be interesting to see who lines up on both sides. Sturt had a few in the stands watching the clash with the Eagles, but I don't know much about the Dogs.
As always I must repeat the mantra that this is just a trial and doesn't mean anything, but it is great to have footy back!

Am hoping to get along Theri, agree that it's great to have footy back.
Big experimentation for the dogs this weekend from what I hear, lots of reserves getting a run and no positions are settled for the game - they have been told to be ready to change around at all times.

Good luck to the Dogs against the flag favourites.
Who knows, with a couple of consistent well placed seasons the Dogs could one day be a flag favourite too!

sounds like WHUFC may be a little drunk by the end of the day. BYO alcohol is allowed into the ground tomorrow, obviously not clubrooms though.
It's great to have the footy back, but like others have said it is only a TRIAL won't read anything into the result just hope we get out injury free and a couple of the new lads play well in whatever grade they play.
Good luck to Kane Officer as well first game back in a year hoping he stays injury free he is a real real talent.

You wont see McCabe on the park tomorrow JMO - according to Lairdy he is still busy on the farm. But apparently he, along with Officer, is looking very fit and raring to go.
As mentioned earlier in the thread, I would expect a very young, experimental Dogs side tomorrow. In recent years there has only been about 8 or so Premiership players from the previous year included in the first trial.

DOh!!!!
Looking forward to see Ryan Williams step up for the dogs aswell. he was impressive for the power in the game I saw and looks to have picked a yard in pace.
Also Paul Scoullar's replacement Earl "The Duke" Shaw, I know the Gowans boys have big wraps for the lad.

Looking forward to the game, the result means very little at this time of year and in this heat.Honestly cant see Centrals playing too many of their best side so after the game if Sturt win Wedgie what will Sturts odds be.
