Has cited homesickness and came back to Adelaide this month and at the moment wont be going back to Melbourne to play for Werribee. Apparently got quite homesick last year but has decided to come back to Adelaide.

Is staying on the Bulldogs rookie list in case he changes his mind, but I wonder if he'll get a clearance to play for Norwood again?

Yeah i read about this about a month ago (that he was homesick), i'm sure Norwood will welcome him back.

surely they'll let him play as i can not see what benefit it does by not allowing him to play

It would make the next kid think twice about walking out on the club that gave so much to him.

Is it possible he could join the club say halfway through the year?

From the little I've heard NFC, there is nothing on the horizon at present whilst other things are foremost in his life.

Homesickness, pfft!! Imagine if the poor lad had to head off overseas and fight in the trenches for two years like the old days. Or even a posting in Iraq in todays world. He's merely a half hour flight over the border to play football. Toughen the puck up mate....WAP

Im lead to believe there's a bit more than homesickness involved and people cope with situations differently.

I know they breed em tougher in the sticks mate, but fair go, the kid's experiencing a difficult time (one that us judgemental types aren't likely to be experiencing) and chose to come home, so what?
