Give us the inside of your team for 2008...?

Is Byron Fit...?

Lets hope so...!

Give us a possible line up.

I think you will be the improvers in 2008...!

The closer it gets........

The more exciting it becomes......!

Can't wait to see Byron put Gowans on his ass.

As much as I would like to think we are gonna be the big improvers, I can see us only improving slightly (elimination final) but anything is absolutely possible, and a premiership in 2008 is definitely not out of the question.

As is the Port Adelaide way, any season without a premiership is a failed season. And we've had plenty of them.

PORT ADELAIDE- WE EXIST TO WIN PREMIERSHIPS!

i know i shouldnt say this but i hope that j gowans gets his just desserts this year whether it be from pickett or whoever, the suspension he received for what he did was disgraceful, the only thing worse than the susspension was the offence, he should have got 10 weks minimum

One of them is actually tough the other just annoys blokes to stir them up. Pickett and Gowans won't " clash" cos I dont think Gowans would be brave enough. I remember 02 GF he went to take a swipe at a Sturt bloke and backed out cos it was Barnaby French ......real tough. I hope Pickett and him do clash to be honest ..........what goes around come around they say.

Now that sounds like a classic PAM gam plan.

Must be getting close to footy season if threads about Port Magpies are getting clogged up with talk of "dirt thug Gowans".

They have 12 premiership medals between them, not sure they are too fussed what opposition supporters think of them!

I believe there was only one problem last year as far as late payment to players, and from a good source inside the club Dutchy i've heard Lecras went back to Perth because his wife became pregnant and she wanted to go back home.

Well the club didn't have its supporters rallying to save a merger with another club like North did a few years back, and North appear to be doing fine, so i'm not sure why Port can't do the same and have their finances more secure within the next few years.

i remember port in the 80's doing the 'we need the money to survive' type of campaign & i know some blokes that 'donated' because they wanted port to stay in the comp so they can beat them in games

no i did not donate, i would've pulled the life support system out
