2008 "In All Honesty Where Will Your Club Be"

In this similar thread to others, predict where and what your club will do in 2008. What are your serious expectations and at the end of the day what will satisfy you as a club supporter.

My Belovered West Adelaide.
2008 (5th or 6th)

As a club West must earn the respect of the other 8 sides.
Set it self up for a huge 2009 by improving its game style.
Turn around the $140K loss from 2007
Increase its membership by earning back the respect of supporters.

"Depending on results",LOL. Like how many games they win?

I would think a couple of new recruits (seems to be a theme of alot of clubs over a long time, doesn't it?) gives us some hope on improving from last year.

I was looking for LeCras to have a big season after a year at SANFL level.A CHF of note is getting harder to find every year,I think we lost one there.

I think the Pies will fall between 4th and 6th (depending on results  ),4th would be ok,6th not so much.

I fear a long hard year for the panthers is ahead.
I desperately hope I am wrong though. We now see a new regime on and off the field, and an exodus of a big part of last years playing group. A couple of reasonable replacements in Torney and Baird have arrived but the big onus will be on the youngsters now given the opportunity, to make their mark. There will be trying times ahead for the ever patient panther fans.
8-9th. I hope I'm horribly wrong.

Totally agree with you Boony, finals would be great, the club has to start blooding some of these kids....

All is looking good at the Bay, we WILL make the Grand Final. The only question is who will Glenelg play Centrals or North.

I believe Westies will be around the five, a new coach, a little clean out of players & alot of new ones onboard should see the club heading in a better direction than previous years.
I & every other Westies supporter would be hoping for higher, that will depend on how the side settles & balances out throughout the year with so many new comers.
I wouldn't say its out of the question tho.

To the relief of a lot of supporters................North will be at Prospect

as for premiership position, anything less than another GF will be unacceptable, anything less than a flag will be a dissapointment

Redlegs to finish the minor round about 3rd...then who knows.
Had enough excuses at the Parade to last a lifetime. The club is back on track financially now is the time to show some on field results.
Norwood will surprise most people this year.
