Advertiser 'Superfooty AFL' page?

Postby shanghaied » Sat Feb 09, 2008 5:37 pm

Anyone checked out the new 'tiser football page?

It starts straight off with AFL and the list of clubs (your team) at the top. To get to the SANFL news you have to click on a different link - but they still have the list of AFL clubs at the top at that page. Is it too difficult to have:

1) a composite start page where you can view different news and/or
2) to actually list the SANFL clubs at the top of the SANFL page?

Rant over...

The SANFL doesn't even rate a page of it's own in the Crapaviser, it's now under the heading "SANFL & Other News".
If you open any of the SANFL stories, you get to see the AFL ladder next to the story.
Looks like media coverage of the SANFL has gone from bad to worse.

It's catch 22. They reduce the SANFL coverage but people still buy the paper.

So their reasoning is "people are buying the paper with no SANFL coverage, therefore people dont want SANFL info"
It's all the SANFL's fault.

It's not about selling papers - it's about putting in about 30 minutes extra work on the website so as to cater to SANFL devotees.

About a month or so ago I was reading some SANFL news on Fox Sports written by Advertiser reporters - it wasn't even put on the Advertiser website. :?: ](*,)

That Superfooty page is worse than the AFL website!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
