I think it's a tie, Sturt and Norwood.

Sturt, however, needs a couple of innovative choruses lol.

I think it's West Adelaide, but I don't remember how it goes :D

(I will this year, though)

It's the same as Hawthorn and Central.

Here's the words.

We're a happy team at Westies.
We're the Mighty Blood and Tars.
We love our club and we play to win.
Riding the bumps with a grin (AT WESTIES).
Come what may you find us striving,
Teamwork is the thing that talks.
All for one and one for all, is the way we play at Westies
We are the Mighty Blood and Tars.

I say Eagles and North, as both clubs don't share songs with any AFL club.

Totally agree, a number of clubs dumped their own original songs to use VFL/AFL songs.....why??????????

Agree - Glenelg's, South and Sturts are unoriginal.

Centrals and West may have the same song, but that will always be Westies song, not Centrals.

I like Norwood's with the extra verses in it - gives it a great feeling of tradition.

Thumbs up for North's and Port's (a great song heard far far too often)

Not a big fan of the Eagles' song.

Glenelg's "Tiger for me" is far better than any of these or the AFL songs.

Even as a one eyed Central supporter, the current club song is the worse in the SANFL, not only is it a terrible song its not even OUR terrible song, geez we are not even the only ones in the league to have it. I can't imagine what the managment were thinking when they changed to the current song obviously nothing.

But it seems to have done the trick, whuffer... Stuck with it now methinks (at least we are a 'winning' team, not a 'happy' team).

Port's is also unoriginal. So is South Melbourne/Sydney's for that matter. Notre Dame victory march, anyone?

Am I right in thinking that Port adopted its current song as late as the 60s or 70s?

Agree with the Glenelg comment. Bring back Tiger For Me....

It only sounds good when the boys from Lockleys FC are singing it

Yeah we are definatly stuck with it. 'this time' is my favourite no means our best but brings back goosebumps thinking of the 95-96 grand finals packed footy park, and belting out the tune before the game was magical unfortunatly the results werent

Pseudo, aren't just about all these songs based on famous tunes anyway? Port's is "original" in a footy sense - sure they had it before the Swans.

I thought Port had an original, but dumped it for their current VFL/AFL song..............................I may be wrong though.

The best SANFL club song in Norths

Centrals/West Adelaide's isn't too bad (West Adelaide's could do with a bit of modernising though).

South's is funny (you have to wonder if they got Alexis Arquette's alter ego - George from The Wedding Singer - to do the instrumental bit)

Port's is irritating (do they have to play it 3,500,000 times)

Glenelg's is unoriginal

Sturt/Norwood's are unimaginative (the second verse in Norwood's sound more like 'Miss Polly had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick', but Sturt's modernised version I don't mind)

The Eagles is simply a shocker

It's a Great Great Club
And the Club We Love
We're the Good old Red and Whites
The Mighty Roosters we're called
All for One, One for all
If we're down we Fight Fight Fight
We like to Play as a Team
And we Play it Clean
We're Never out of Sight
Be it Wet be it Dry
We Try Try Try
We're the Good old Red and Whites

WHAT A GOOD SONG

I guess lyrics about the 20s and 40s are always going to make CDFC fans feel inadequate.
