Sturt, however, needs a couple of innovative choruses lol.

Totally agree, a number of clubs dumped their own original songs to use VFL/AFL songs.....why??????????

Agree - Glenelg's, South and Sturts are unoriginal.
Centrals and West may have the same song, but that will always be Westies song, not Centrals.
I like Norwood's with the extra verses in it - gives it a great feeling of tradition.
Thumbs up for North's and Port's (a great song heard far far too often)
Not a big fan of the Eagles' song.
Glenelg's "Tiger for me" is far better than any of these or the AFL songs.

It only sounds good when the boys from Lockleys FC are singing itsturtpeter wrote:I think it's a tie, Sturt and Norwood.

Port's is also unoriginal. So is South Melbourne/Sydney's for that matter. Notre Dame victory march, anyone?
Am I right in thinking that Port adopted its current song as late as the 60s or 70s?
Agree with the Glenelg comment. Bring back Tiger For Me....
