In the latest rumour from the usual reliable source, North and Centrals are set to merge. The new club will be called the DogsCocks, but they won't field a football team. They'll just sit around all day playing with their pokies.

And the rest of the clubs will have to merge to have a competitive team

And Wedgie would be the first one in you would think.

At Least we will have something to Play With !
And get it right, they will be Called Northern Districts !

Moderators are all "supposed" to be interested in maintaining a high quality of discussion on this website and filtering out the crap (if I believe what I have been told in the past). I think they have failed to deliver on that promise on this occasion.

Couldn't agree more. Ive said that ever since the old footysa days.

I am breaking the rule here though because on this site we were lead to believe back in November 2005 when the Circ V snuffys topic came to a head that there was going to be stricter moderation and that rubbish like this would not be tolerated.

OK I'll stop posting on this thread. Personally I can tolerate poor humour - not all of my jokes have the intended reaction

It's a harmless post giving opportunity for those inclined to have a bit of fun.

This isn't a forum on playing for sheep stations. As a moderator I have yet to delete a post. There's been no reason to. Once precious Dashers and RoosterMartys start sqwarking about chosing to be offended about particular posts (both North supporters I assume), and posts get deleted then it's time for me to leave and let the thread-Nazis play amongst themselves.

Lighten up. The world isn't THAT depressing.

I think you're on the right track GC. I think the only things that should be moderated out are things which could lead to the site being banned or sued out of existence. So any inane or bad taste comments are fine as far as I am concerned (within the laws of the land).

Agred to a degree, despite not censoring stupid comments I try to discourage them here as it brings the site into disrepute IMHO.
Footysa got out of hand and was generally regarded in a lot of places a joke because of this.
I'd rather keep this as a site for mainly intelligent discussions with a minority of stupidity when we get a few beers under out belt.
