i have it on vERY good authority that his signing with the gfc is a formality, i find it surprising considering he was socially hanging out with the central boys (allegedly), anyone else got thoughts on this?

If that is the case, it would be a coup particularly with the sucess that Centrals have had over the last decade. Maybe he wants to play for the love of the Club/Guernsey

. I'm certainly not counting any chickens though, remember Perrie and Torney were signed sealed and delivered

.

I have heard this also. Disappointing, but someone who isn't committed to Centrals isn't on the required player list at Centrals.
We'll pass on the premiership voucher to another recruit.

Yep, agreed - it does suck.
But we've lost players in the past and struggled on.

Personally I believe it when he is officially signed sealed and delivered...as far as I know that hasn't happened yet.

LBT, if you believed the rumours on this site, every teams squad would be a lot different than they are. A lot of peoples 'sources' are no more useful to the discussion than a bottle of tomato, bbq or sweet chili would be.

Grima has made no decision yet the Glenelg offer is very very good plus they are trying to organise employment for him which i think is the only thing keeping the tigers in the race.
Also it's not "allegedy" that he's hanging with Central boys it's fact.

Yeah there is a feeling from a few Central people in the know that Grima maybe using negoations with Glenelg as a way to increase a potential contract at Central. He is definaltly socialising with the Central boys, was introduced to him over the weekend at an Adelaide night spot by a couple of the lads.
So i would say Central are definatly in pole position for him and i expect he will play for the dogs in 08, but rumour has Glenelg have offered him a very good deal, so it will be red faces to me after this post if he wears the black and gold.
