thanks for those great pictures, surely captures the day well... and I know i'll get flamed here... (pun intended) but those shots of the flares are awesome! lucky duck to meet God himself - was he at the game?

I only showed the flares as it was part of the day.

Still not sure of what I think about them....

As for Gary, he walked past me in the clubrooms and thought I'd better snaffle that pic.

IMHO the flares at the footy on Sunday are a bigger issue than they are in soccer (except when they're thrown).
In soccer most times they're left off in amongst a group of idiots who jump up and down and dance around them but don't do a lot of harm as its usually just the idiots that inhale the crap.
On the weekend I was made aware that a young Central District supporter sitting behind one of the flares went into an asthma attack because of one of the flares and his father had to seek medical attention for him and has complained bitterly to the CDFC.
Not on because of that reason IMHO.
If it was my child I would have gone on a violence spree and it would have been very very ugly.

Thats me in the very first flare photo getting smoked out. Good to see Dan Bennett (the rooster fan) at the cdfc after party.

If you look at that photo and the one in the Tiser on Monday, it's taken at virtually the same time.

Wouldn't it be good if footy was like this all of the time.

IMHO Best shoot of the lot

99% of the time it isn't far from that - in my experience at least. Great comp we have.

It is a good shot innit JTC.
Apart from the two ugly blokes.

Admired the guy's chutzpah to turn up to the ground in full colours.
