Too good, Central's are a machine.
Just got home so I'm sorry I didn't post earlier.
Central's are awesome.
Goodnight.

Coming, but I only took pics before the game and I haven't got to bed yet, feeling a tad lethargic.
No pics of the actual game as I thought I'd actually watch a game for a change, that was a mistake! :?

But Wedgeman outlined all the Powerhouses, and North were in there.
I thought this got us over the Port only criteria.

You beat one but you didn't become one.

You're only a Powerhouse if you beat the Port Adelaide Football Club in GFs.
Everyone knows that.

No, but for some reason you did say we didn't become one. Not sure why, because it's the first time it was raised.
You stated a couple of months ago that we'd never beaten a powerhouse of the SANFL before in a GF, but that's been laid to rest, eh!

You still drinking, Wedgeman!
While rapt with the result (a win), I'm a bit disappointed the match wasn't a close one. The last SANFL beauty was 1999 as far as neutrals and closeness are concerned. Seems that in the modern era there are bigger results than previous times.

Spoils it for half the fans, that's all.

But we've now beaten a Powerhouse, without becoing one - woohoo...

No, and I take offence that you insinuate I may be. I didn't insult you at all.

I think 6 premierships in 8 years is enough to be classed as a Powerhouse era. So what if we haven't beaten Port - they haven't been good enough to make in this era that's not Centrals problem.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

I thought the 2005 GF was a great game up until the last quarter...

The only powerhouse in the SANFL at the moment is the CDFC. I've gone through this earlier in the year; someone in that thread said that beating the West Indies has no special meaning anymore, because they haven't been a power since the mid 90s. That's the comparison from International Cricket to the SANFL scene now.

I see Centrals winning the flag next year as well. North have a long long way to go until they are the standard of Centrals.
