Back in the good old days (late '80s) I had a mate who would routinely park in the shopping centre car park for free, simply by telling the attendant "I'm just going to McDonalds". They'd just wave him straight through...

you had to pay to park in the west lakes car park

i just drove in & no one was there to take money & i thought at last someone with a bit of clout not charging for the carpark & no wedgie not a joke post

perhaps they do charge after a certain time, i got there just after 11.00 am & the car park was almost full, infact we turned where wedgie & friends were on the corner & little bayman sung out hi wedgie but wedgie never heard him, so wedgie was there before me
