Some really fascinating stuff in that lot, thanks wedgie and thanks Phil (I assume?).

Although, it does refer to North defeating all others this season - didn't they just dip out on this score?

Yeah, they did dip out, and yes the stats are Phils, great work by Phil again this season to provide the SANFL with such great stats.
All editted now with the discrpency taken out.

When the Eagles went premier in 1993, Glenelg was the only club undefeated by them in that year.

This is an interesting stat. How many wins did Port have in 1979 when the ladder was so even? Has there ever been a team win with less wins, in a 20+ minor round season?

God, we'd never hear the end of this discussion if North got ahead of Sturt, esp after some of the older stuff on here and the FootySA site. Almost make you barrack for Sturt for a year to even things up.
