RICKI-LEE TAKES CENTRE STAGE AT SANFL GRAND FINAL
Former Young Diva and Australian Idol finallist, Ricki-Lee Coulter will perform the National Anthem prior to the commencement of the SANFL Grand Final match this Sunday. Following her Australian Idol success, Ricki-Lee has recorded her debut self-titled album ‘Ricki-Lee’ and toured with the Young Divas (Australian Idol finallists Ricki-Lee, Paulini, Kate & Emily).
Ricki-Lee’s appearance on Sunday coincides with the launch of her second album ‘Brand New Day’. She will perform the first single of the album, Can’t Touch It, at half time of the League match.
The ‘be active’ League Grand Final pre-match entertainment will kick off with the Savings & Loans Champions’ Motorcade including recently retired players, SA Football Hall of Fame Members and 2007 SANFL Grade Medallists.
Dancing Girls and Mascots representing the 9 SANFL Clubs will add colour to proceedings by performing a combined routine prior to the entry of the Central District and North Adelaide players to the arena.
Half time of the League Grand Final will see over 500 SA Auskick participants from various NAB AFL Auskick centres across South Australia participate in a “Parade of Future Champions” showcasing SANFL or AFL stars in the making!
The 2007 Mail Medallist Motorcade recognising the Best and Fairest Medal winners from the Affiliated Country and Amateur Leagues throughout South Australia will follow the “Parade of Future Champions”.

My god Wedgie, you get all the mail! Does the SANFL employ you?
Ricki-Lee CAN sing, hope she doesn't go crazy with over the top vibrato shizen!
My only fear is that she doesn't wear an outfit that doesn't makes her bum look too big!
Go you DIVA! Love a chick who can really sing!
Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.

I thought it was going to be Rickie Lee Jones singing "Chuck E.'s in Love".

There's a blast from the past. 8)

Didn't she also do a medley of songs at the Magarey Medal night that year as well.

To the tune of Chariots of Fire... "They're turning the lights on, at Football Park. No more will the public, be in the dark"

Then I think it was something to the tune of Flashdance.

Just watched the '91 Grand Final and they had Frankie Davidson singing.
