2007 SANFL ‘be active’ LEAGUE PRELIMINARY FINAL INJURY UPDATE & GRAND FINAL BROADCAST DETAILS

FINALS WEEK 4 – MATCH DETAILS
Confirmation of Sunday’s matches at AAMI Stadium –
Under 19’s Grand Final –

Match – Port Adelaide Magpies v Sturt
Time – 9.05am
Reserves Grand Final –
Match – Glenelg v South Adelaide
Time – 12.00pm
League Grand Final –
Match – Central District v North Adelaide
Time – 3.10pm

POST MATCH PRESENTATIONS
SA Football Hall of Fame Member, Robert Oatey, will be presenting the Premiership Cup, Medallions and Grand Final Pennant to the winning team of the Under 19’s Grand Final.
Fellow Hall of Famer, Gary Window, will present the Premiership Cup, Medallions and Grand Final Pennant to the winning Reserves Team on the day. Brett Hudson, grandson of the late Bob Lee, will present the Bob Lee Medal to the Reserves player judged best a field.
The League Grand Final Premiership Medallions and Grand Final Pennant will be presented by former Port Adelaide Champion and SA Football Hall of Fame Member, Geof Motley. Geof will also conduct the coin toss prior to the start of the League Grand Final. Ian Borchard, 1983 Jack Oatey Medallist, will present the Jack Oatey Medal on behalf of the Oatey Family. The Jack
Oatey Medal is presented to the League player judged best a field on the day. SANFL President, Rod Payze, will present the Premiership Cup and Grand Final Pennant to the winning League team.

Don't worry Dutchy, LifeFm will be giving regular score updates from when we go on air at 12 noon.

With my South bias and Jason Evans being a mad Tigers fans should be an "interesting" warm up to the league.

well done to Matthew Krieg on 100 games couldnt hold a spot in central 1s now is a very good and HARD player at roosters. how good would it be if him and Josh Coulter play well and be very important parts in the Win. if we do win

SANFL GRAND FINAL ACTION
THIS SUNDAY, AAMI STADIUM

After battling through 23 rounds of competition and three weeks of finals, the SANFL is pleased to announce that the following teams have earned the right to contest the Premiership Title and a place in SANFL history. Please find below confirmed schedule of Sunday’s Grand Final action:

Sunday 7th October at AAMI Stadium
MATCH: Under 19 Grand Final
TEAMS: Port Adelaide Magpies v Sturt
TIME: 9.05am
MATCH: Reserves Grand Final
TEAMS: Glenelg v South Adelaide
TIME: 12.00pm
MATCH: League Grand Final
TEAMS: Central District v North Adelaide
TIME: 3.10pm

For the second consecutive year, a broad spread of top SANFL playing talent will be on show this Sunday, with six of the nine SANFL clubs participating in SANFL Grand Finals. Future SANFL League clashes are sure to be filled with talent and fierce competition as the players competing this weekend move through the grades and establish themselves against the powers of today.
General Manager Marketing & Corporate Affairs, Paul Anderson said “the diversity of clubs involved in this weekend’s Grand Final campaigns and the talent on display is a further indication of the strength and success of the SANFL’s junior development programs and the commitment of our SANFL clubs in identifying and nurturing local talent. It should be a great incentive for the supporters of all clubs to come along to what will be a fantastic final day of SANFL action for 2007”.
