another disgraceful decision, if any player has qualified & wants to play (who wouldn't) they should be allowed to play, with no ramifications from their afl clubs, because during the season the sanfl clubs accomodate their afl counterparts

kris massie didn't want to play for norwood during a finals series few years back, which amazed me but it was his choice

while not finals eligibility, the 'willits affair' was not all glenelgs fault

can someone please tell me what is the difference between playing one player, yet not another? The friggin' season is over, for puck's sake! STOP BEING SO BLOODY PRECIOUS & SELF-IMPORTANT, AFL WANKER CLUBS!

I could only assume it has something to do with the state of his body.

I thought in todays paper it said the only reason an AFL club can pull one of their players out of the SANFL finals is if he was listed as injured. Obviously Port Power did not suffer any injuries on the weekend (egos aside) so he should be eligible to play, unless they have changed the rules again.

Who's decision was it Mark Williams or the HOFF'S ?????

If it was CHOKERS it is a bit of sour grapes and an absolute disgrace.

However, i am not fussed but it is the principle of the matter, if the lad wants to play and Lairdy can squeeze him in, let him after all he is a Barossa lad and a Doggy boy.

Another shameful performance by the POOOOOWWWAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could only assume it has something to do with the state of his body.

or his mind, he was simply pathetic in the last 2 games, backing out of physical clashes on at least 6 occasions

Agreed.
However, as Mathew Stokes showed, experience from ANY level of finals is vital in your mental preparation for the future. Justin would benefit greatly from the ability to redeem himself for last weekend, and the experience of playing in front of a big stage - why offer Symes the chance to do so, yet not Justin? Or Lonie! For the sake of 'petty punishment' for the AFL GF...

FWIW, I don't think he should have played for us in any case, as the current interchange rules are carp - possibly even all or none of the AFL'ers should be allowed to play SANFL finals. Maybe we should reconsider how all AFL listed players are viewed, unless on a rookie or reserve type list.

Port has punished Justin, Centrals and the SANFL neutral supporters next weekend based on their decision.

Well done Stewie for getting out when you did.

Disappointed in the decision by Port - but given he's played for Port since round 9, I'm not surprised. If they held back Symes it would have been a different story.

I have always had the feeling that Justin would not be playing in our GF. I stated this throughout the past fortnight, only to be rebuked for my comments. I am pretty sure it is to do with the fact that he has not played for Central in the past 15 weeks. Whilst it is a pity that he will not be out there on Sunday, well done to Hoff on his first season of AwFuL football. We will just have to make sure we win the flag for you!
Cheers
