Its really a guess as I don't think anyone has an idea what sort of walk up crowd North will have at a GF as so many things have changed since their last appearance.
I'm guessing around 34k.

i think low 30's as well wedgie but i wouldn't be totally surprised if it got over the 35,000 but if its less than 30,000 i'd think the league would be very dissapointed

Early forecasts don't look great with rain expected Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

if indeed it does rain the league should 'in its wisdom' advertise that whoever goes can get undercover in the northern stand or even they could open up the members so everyone could be dry if they want to be undercover

As posted on another thread:
32k about par
less than 30k - days of big crowds over. Go to AO. Can't blame Eagles for last few years then.
35-38k - great
40k - even better. But will be jealous, angry, whatever that Eagles couldn't get that crowd, and that there are now that many supporters keen again to go to an SANFL GF.

Every single SANFL fan should get to this one, the atmosphere will be incredible as you don't get louder or more colourful fans than Central and North fans.
Be interesting to see if security let the Centrals lads move end to end as there will be a red and white army at the southern end.

Agree, Wedgie, every single SANFL fan should be there. But they should be there every year anyway.

Never quite understood the attraction of Bathurst.
Then again, I'll sit there for five days straight watching Test cricket, and I know that's not everyone's cup of tea.

Are we guessing what the actual crowd will be, or what the SANFL will claim the crowd to be?

Well said Wedge. We have been in a lot of Grand Finals but the feelin amongst myself and a lot of other supporters i know is this is the most anticipated since 2000.
Eagles fans are just poor, Can never get any sort of atmosphere from them. Lookin forward to seeing Red and White Army in full flight. Cant wait! Bring it on Rooters

I expect it to be about 35 000.
At least it'll be more than what the Slowdown got - just over 18 000. I think the novelty of this event has worn off and maybe it's time to either abolish it or move it to another time of the year.

slowdown = 18,000+ is it the novelty wearing off or the fact it was changed to footy park rather than leaving it (if they could) at the adelaide oval ?

wasnt the reason they moved it because the support for the game was outgrowing adelaide oval ?i could be wrong.

Like that is a bad thing? Bathurst is the biggest yawn fest around...
If I did not have to work, I'd be at the Granny too...

Game was moved to footy park as adelaide oval wasnt available.
