Darwin game scores (4th Feb)

Postby Sploosh » Sat Feb 04, 2006 3:44 pm

Here's hoping that someone, somewhere, will have access to scores of tonight's North vs NT game. Any information would be fantastic, although I assume that it won't be getting any coverage in Adelaide...

Good on ya North. Great work. Can't wait to hear more about who played well, see some pics etc. Hopefully someone with a camera stayed sober enough until the final siren to snap some pics...

well done north, would love to see some footage or pics...might get the olds to tape it and send it over :D

not a bad crowd...would liked to have had 6000 or so, but not sure of conditions etc....

i wonder if north had a full strength side??

going by the game, would the NT have a chance in the SANFL?? i still think its a good idea but knowing the costs, logistics etc... :?

Well as I predicted If you don't win by 5 goals it don't really count. I'll take a 25 pt win (4 goals 1). Norths fitness has obviously come through, to double the margin in the last quarter.

That crowd is dissapointing, if it 4 700 that is roughly half the capacity of the oval.

Don't want to sound overly negative all the time but footy in Darwin hasn't developed in 15 years.

As I said previously if North couldn't beat that mob, they had some serious issues to overcome in two months prior to the start of the season....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Well done Cocks! Thanks for the updates LL - god knows there was absolutely nothing about it in the Smail today, not enough space amongst all the Crows hype.

(Good to see you posting Purch!)

I was there Tassie and I reckon Norf was lucky to win. NT won the midfield and then proceeded to either kick it on the chest of a Norf defender or pass off into the pocket. NT had more scoring shots but not only missed the hard ones but missed at least three less than 30 out. A decent key forward and NT would have trashed Norf.

Add to that - an unseasonally dry and coolish evening meant that Norf had conditions that should have suited them.
We used to be good :-(
