Im sure there will be players I may have missed or under/over rated but its just one persons opinion. Re: AFL Listed players...I gave a cut off of 12 games played. Som players that were injured most of the year either are low or havent been considered.
Club Breakdown:
CD - 14
WWT - 12
North - 13
Glenelg - 13
Port - 12
Sturt - 11
Norwood - 10
South - 9
West - 6

Well done on that work!! Just one interesting query - you have chosen four Norwood players and three West players before you come up with a third Central player. Does this indicate the evenness of the Central team, the fact that Norwood and West left too much to too few, or just that you do not rate Central?
Cheers

Lot of thought has gone into that Macca well done, only one that stands out that I wouldn't have in the Top 10 is McGlone, would prefer a Backwell.

Having not seen many games at all this year, I cannot really say too much except to congratulate you on the amount of work you appear to have put into this, Macca. Just wondering if Schelly deserves to be higher than number 30? My sources have told me that he has been Central's best player this year and the number of marks he has taken at centre half back may back that up. Apart from that, just well done, Macca! I dip my lid to thee.
Cheers

It'll be interesting to see how Macca's list compares to the Magarey votes.

Sorry but on this years performance I cannot see McGrath or Prendergast in the top 100.

Between the 3rd and 4th West player there are 10 Centrals players!
In my opinion West had a couple of standout players then it fell away completely. Norwood were much better than West but again had a few players that really played very well during the year before falling off a touch. Port didnt really have any standouts but had a fairly even first 5-6 players.
Centrals were definately the standout team of the year and having 14 players shows that.

Dunno mate, I keep picturing you grinning all the time and its a bit off putting.
I'll be easy to find prior to the game as we get there early for a BBQ in the northern car park, always have a big BBQ and plenty of colour and stand out like dogs balls.
I should make the effort to see more of the first game this week as only caught the last quarter last week as was enjoying myself in the car park too much.
I know LEH and Stampy were going to meet under the Chappel stands at the bar there, perhaps we should all meet there, say at half time of the Glenelg v Eagles game?

Interesting of the 12 Glenelg blokes, Pannoz was dropped to the Ressies, and Mitchy may not get back in.
Also SLSP, second highest goal kicker in the league couldn't get a gig.
Will be a few interesting posts re who should get in and who shouldn't....good work Macca !

Yep I told LEH that I would get there to meet him for the first time, was gonna be 3/4 time, should maybe change it to half time and have a SAFooty beerathon....

Pretty spot on from WWT perspective. Maybe Vince and Powell slightly higher. McKenzie would have to be in top dozen if he hadn't had injuries this year.

from a Sturt perspective, no Feast but you have DeLuca in, DeLuca wouldnt be in my list
and I would have Evans and Herring in before Darling and Weatherald and probably swap McLeay and Button
good job though and these things are always open to conjecture
out of interest sake we did a player of the year on db.org and Crane and Chambers were equal winners, Nelson 2nd, Whiteman 3rd, Sheedy 4th, Feast 5th and Evans 6th
