Well I must admit I prefer going to Adelaide Oval as the Carparking is only $5 not the amazing $9 that Footy Park Charges. But really today the parking attendants had about as much clue as the umpires today and my side won.
Arriving half an hour before the Elimintation Final I turn into the Main Northern Carpark entrance only to be told to reverse back as that carpark was shut for the moment unless you had a pass and to go to the next entry just outside the Cathedral (spelling). By the time I got from the main entrance down to the little single lane driveway it took 20 minutes to go 200 metres.
By the time I pulled into driveway cars were banked up down King William Rd one direction and all the way back on to Morphett St the other direction.
The on going accross to the Pub between games you had the single lane driveway with cars trying to get out and people trying to get in for the Qualifying Final.
It was a disgrace if you are going to have pass only carparking why not use the smaller of the two entrances for the special pass parking.
The SACA wouldn't botch it up like that for cricket so why let it happen for footy. They just proved to me that god help us if they were ever allowed to host an AFL game as it would take longer to get a park then what the game lasted.
If only I was healthy enough to be able to walk a long distance and then I wouldn't have to use there carpark which must be run by clowns really.
