Longest gap between SANFL goals
Posted: Fri Sep 14, 2007 10:01 amI'll try this one again! Spell_Check and I have briefly discussed it, but neither of us are sure. In Round 16, Ben Hart goaled against Sturt - his second SANFL goal of his career.
By my reckoning, his first would have been in 1991 - his debut year. Is this, therefore, the longest gap between goals in a player's SANFL career - 16 years? I'm unsure if Port's "Shine" Hosking kicked one on the day he started on the bench at age 48 for a one-off.
Does anyone else out there know?
