Advertiser Player of the Year 2007

Postby Wedgie » Thu Sep 13, 2007 8:30 am

Congratulations to James Allan who didn't even need his best on ground votes from Friday night to comfortably win the Advertiser Player of the Year despite missing 2 games with injury.
He's averaged something like 28 possies per game this year.
Probably the best recruit/import since Jeremy Clayton.
There's a good chance he's won the Budget Player of the year too but we'll have to wait to see how the hidden rounds did before confirming that.
Good luck in the Magarey Jimmy!
(He would have won the Liston last year if he hadn't broken his arm too)
And everyone, just remember the wrap I gave him in March! :D

Assuming this isn't a piss take or something that's gone over my head, he wears #16.
