Can any one tell me what happens to the Power players affiliated to SANFL clubs not competing in the finals at League or Reserves level eg Gray & Willetts at Westies for example.

This, of course is for the time that the Power remains in the AFL finals

Q1 - do they go to the lowest reserves team in finals.

q2 - could Gray (who is u/19) play for West in the u/19 final sat.

I think they just miss out.

i would think gray would (or at least should) be allowed to play u/19's then & the rest would miss out

As in all other seasons, I believe that they are eligible to play for the lowest ranked SANFL reserves team.

Gray would be a handy player in the 19's if he is fit

I'm pretty sure AFL listed players are still active in the SANFL while their AFL team is alive. My gut tells me they are aligned with the bottom ranked reserves finals team but the SANFL might do something to even that out or the dogs reserves might look more like a league team!

The Pahhhhhr played an internal trial. Presumably involving all of their squad apart from Mahoney, White, Deluca and Grose (I think the only ones playing SANFL this weekend, the last of whom played 2nds). Hence they avoided all teeth-gnashing of the purists by not releasing Cockshell, Lower and Thomas to play reserves for Norwood.
