SA State Jumpers now available!!!

Postby Dogsbody » Sat Jan 28, 2006 12:48 pm

I went into 'The First Bounce' store in Elizabeth today, and there, in all its glory, was the SANFL state jumper.

The offer of 10% off to us here at SAFooty and the SANFL beer/cheer squads still stands. They come in a range of sizes, with several kids sizes which are going for $69.95 ($62.95 after discount) and smalls to XXL's at $99.95 ($89.95 after discount).

BTW... this discount will also apply to the other club jumpers, of which the new 2006 ranges are available. The Bulldogs jumper has the new club logo on it, the Norwood jumper with the Fairmont Homes logos on back and front and all with the new SANFL 'Be Active League' logo as well. Port Magpies jumpers are not in yet, but will be within the next two weeks.

And for all you North fans, the special match jumper from the NTFL game may become available too.

That's OK... no doubt Wedgie will get a look at this thread and maybe we can start the ball rolling in some kind of agreement where the rest of the staff of TFB will know about this deal.

State guernsey should not be for sale.

Should only be worn by those who earned it.

Almost as bad as seeing the Australian test cricket shirt in Rebel Sport the other week.

MP, if you follow that logic we shouldn't be able to buy any guernsey because you have to earn the right to wear any guernsey :D !!!

I figure the commercial benefits of selling state guernseys are next to nothing.

So why cheapen them?

No doubt many of you will disagree.

If we start selling Baggy Green's in stores, I'm done for.

Is anyone planning on making the trek up north to buy one? I would like to get one but it's a bit too far to go and with petrol at $1.27 a litre the discount would be well and truly eroded.

If people trusted me with their dosh, I could get them.

All I would need is a preferred size.... or maybe he'll take phone orders and send them by mail. It would cancel out the discount but you would probably end up getting the postage for nothing.

I'll talk to him on Monday to work something out.

That will never happen, and I wouldn't want it to happen, but every other league, or code sell their representative (State or Country) tops to the public, why not let the real supporters wear a state guernsey to state games.

I might try and get out there sometime this week DB as I'm on leave and the kids are back at school.
Can you find out which day/s and time/s would be best to catch him?

I definately see your point there MP, however, the purchasing of a state jumper will stop all those tossers rocking up to the game with Crows and Power gear on.....GOD THAT SHITS ME!!!

I can't bloody stand it either.

How about when every cheer group congregates at the goals, if anyone goes past with Power or Crows stuff on, we all shout repeatedly "WHO ARE YA?! WHO ARE YA?! WHO ARE YA?! WHO ARE YA?!"
