This match will be played at Glenelg Oval on Saturday at 2:00pm. It follows the Under 17 First Semi Final between Port Magpies and Norwood.

Norwood ended the season only a win and percentage off top place with 13 wins and seven losses, but their form heading into finals has been suspect, losing by 40 points to Central District in Round 22, and by 46 points to South Adelaide in Round 23. Meanwhile, the Panthers had the same win-loss record as the Legs this season, but finished with the third worst percentage in the competition. In fact, their final-round win against Norwood was their biggest this season, surpassing the 37-point win against Sturt in Round 15. Nine of South's wins were by less than 25 points, and four were by a kick or less.

Knowing the boys at South fairly well those wins were hard fought wins. Showed character and alsom shows that when the game is close they can hold on for the win. Improved as the season went on and hopefully can do some damage in the finals.
God knows the club could use the success even if it is in the reserves. Maybe it will show that these guys are good enough if given a chance at league level.

Yeah, agreed. It's not a bad line-up on paper and the win on saturday should give them a lot of confidence.
