Well looking forward to next year with a new coach and hopefully new players at Westies. It is time to turn the club around and upside down. No more spoons for my life time.

Fair enough, Strawbs - I imagine the kitchen drawer is quite full now.

They seem to be making the right decisions with respect to what we see publicly, hopefully they recruit and develop just as well and progress from here.

They tried the new coach and new players only a few seasons ago. Perhaps the right tack this time is fixing everything one step at a time rather than going for the radical change to try to change everything in one fell swoop. Both South and West have some serious issues to sort out and big changes rarely achieve big results.

I agree and the problem is we need to look more at Centrals and how they have developed over recent years and try and use that idea for us. Centrals have a younger supporter base than Westies and Westies need that younger supporter base to go forwards.

Don't think there is an easy answer for any of our teams. What works for one team won't necessarily work for another...just happens to suit those personalities at that time. You would probably find that bringing just a couple of the wrong recuits with conflicting personalities into Centrals to bring them crashing down. IMHO it's a very fine line between what will work and what won't...just hope we can all work out what will work for 2008.

Go Legs
Go Bloods
Go Panthers

What are the chances of picking up any ex Bloods players who were on AFL lists this season?
