North 14.11 (95) Norwood 8.7 (55)

Norwood led by five points at quarter time, though, North Adelaide seized all control from there on. Boras kicked at least five for North, including a few booming goals from long range. Sets up what should be a cracking contest in the second semi final at Adelaide Oval next week against first-placed Sturt. Not much to say about Norwood. They did have almost 50 interchanges to 20 in the warm conditions but that didn't deter the fact they committed far too many skill errors and seemed to be too self-orientated at times.

John Boras is going to be a very good league player in the near future 1 to 2 years and maybe who knows AFL? Big bodied, good pace, leads well and has stong hands and can kick goals. A couple of his goals today from the south-western pocket were very good considering the tricky wind.

BPBRB - What happened to the lad North had in their underage side around 2-3 seasons ago who nearly won the goalkicking in 17's and 19's in the same season.?

That's Michael Wundke - now our League FF! Broke his leg halfway through the season stranded on 99 combined 17's and 19's goals as a 16 year old. He would have kicked 100 just in the 17's alone plus the goals he got in the 19's when he went up if he had not broken his leg. Boras reminds me a lot of him but Boras might end up a little bigger in body size and height, not that Michael is lacking in those areas.

His younger brother James is going to be a very good player oo - currently playing ruck in our two's. Very mobile and could be a potential AFL player one day and he is a little like Luke McEntee who came through our juniors and ressies before being drafted and is now with Hawthorn.
