Do Sturt deserve the double chance?

Postby sturtpeter » Thu Sep 06, 2007 2:08 pm

I say yes.

They are the most improved side in the SANFL this year. They haven't played at Unley since July 22nd. and they are playing accountable Footy even with massive injury concerns.

Go U Blues  :D :D :D

yes, Sturt deserve the double chance, if only for being "most improved"...

If they finish second or third then they deserve it. If they finish fourth, they don't. Funny how it works out that way.

you still drinking that carton!!!!!!!!!

If sturt deserved the double-chance then they should think about winning on friday night, or they should have won more games during the year so it didnt come down to this!

In a nutshell Yep, provided they win this Friday.....

If they don't (beat North) it will be due to a lack of accountable footy, the same un-accountable footy they showed in the 2nd, 3rd and 1st 10 mins of the 4th qtr against the Bays last week - with injury concerns
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

better save that carton for the 2nd week of the finals when the team that is allegedly the most improved playing accountable football with a dodgy draw gets blown out of the finals!!!!!!!!!!!

The hardest choice is trying to work out which team to barrack for Friday night.

If Sturt win, reading this board and the Roost will be hours of entertainment.

If North win, this board will also provide hours of entertainment, but probably not as much.

That $1,000 bet will be raised again...

+ the small matter of the losing team plays the bays the week after.

So i pledge support for injuries and suspensions.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Sturt fans have more logic than the bandwagon supporters from glenelg, jump on the train it is leaving soon. of course sturt do deserve the double chance, they have improved from last year. start of this year the so called experts predicted them to finish bottom.

sturt have just as many bandwagoners as us, if not more!!!!!!

so STURT deserve the double chance just because they have improved from last year......

well glenelg improved from last year too!!!!!!!!

just keep praying you dont lose friday night, because then you will be out of the finals the week after and the season after so much promise and hope will have delivered so little

I just checked the SANFL site and the rules say nothing about a double chance for winning the "Most Improved Team" award for 2007. Sorry fellas, you'll have to earn it by finishing above at least 6 other sides.
