Its scary to think of the what the crowd might be at Noarlunga, bugger all Norwood supporters went to Norwood so that figure would have to drop being at Noarlunga against a Crows match.
Only South supporter I know goes for the Crows and was glad he had an excuse not to go to Noarlunga.
Also taking into account its the second week of the Southern Football League finals it really is hard to see this game breaking 1000.

As it will be played on Saturday this game wont break 1000. If it was Sunday it probably can.
It has me buggered as to why this game is on Saturday. South normally have their home games programmed on Sunday so why did they request it being Saturday?
PhilH?? Can you explain??

Keeping it brief.
In our situation, A lot more factors needed to be considered that just crowd numbers (althought that is a factor)
one of those situations where you are dammed if you do, dammed if you don't.
At the time the request was made
the benefits of playing our last game on Saturday
outweighed the benefits of playing our last game on Sunday.
A few weeks ago we played West head to head against the MV v Reynella derby game and Crows v Geelong
Everyone on this site made jokes & predicted a sub 1000 crowd, we got 1387 (above average for a West game)
Time will tell

For those of us not from down south and the goings on there, what were the benefits of playing Saturday? Are SFL finals played on Sunday? Do the players want to get "blotto" on the Saturday night??

I might go to all 3 games on Saturday to help build up the crowds.
Hope my pass out from Woodville will get me into Richmond and my pass out from Richmond will get me into Noarlunga!
