Can’t pick any of those beers.

This is about as fancy as we got after a Magpies premiership.

Surely there are still some commemorative 1989 Premiership Winnie Blue carton packs still floating around on Gum Tree/EBay...

I suppose the Southwark Bitter limited edition premiership cartons would be undrinkable by now....

(cue joke about their lack of drinkability in the first place)

Thanks Brett.

PAFC 150th year get on board.

Keep going fella, doing a sterling job looking like a twat in these unprecedented times that are way bigger than football.

I’m just trying to lift everyone’s spirit LMA. Unlike you wet blankets.

That’s why for real sanfl fans the news that Afl clubs getting booted from the SANFL Is the boost in the arm they need in these hard times. Looking back and laughing at those who happily looked down their nose and stupidly declared The afl clubs are going nowhere. WRONG.

What are PAFC fans going to do seeing the SANFL can not be blamed. I guess they’ll blame SMA.

Keith Thomas’s birthday present for PAFC On its 150th year is a dead magpie. PAFC having to kill off the magpies all to cut costs under a one club structure . Wow nobody saw that coming. :-)

Great job KT the Norwood flog has finally delivered.

And boy aren’t those 4000 ravens fans gutted by the news. :-)

Stay safe everyone.

We still have some Premiership grog left over from the last one a few years ago.

Should be right for the next one.

I see UK's old club Centrals have put a call out to members that they need their support now more than ever. All clubs will.

If you're not a member of your club and you can afford to support them financially at any level now is the time to do it.

Long road ahead sadly for us.

The worry is the after affects of this in 2-5 years time, businesses won’t just reappear from no where. If we lose a million jobs they won’t magically all be given back immediately.

Not sure a lot of people can afford to support in the way. I know I would love to but losing half my pay and realistically maybe even my entire job in the near future makes it impossible. Got to look out for my family first, sadly I know a few others in this position as well.

Only saving grace for the club is being almost debt free.

Also with Holden disappearing completely where do we get a major sponsor from. Worrying times indeed.

“I would hate to contemplate that the Port Magpies won't get through,'' Thomas said on radio station SEN SA on Monday morning.

"We are committed to it in the SANFL, but we'll have to wait and see. The reality is we have to see where this lands, I don't know how the SANFL is planning to move through it.“

"It's too early in the conversation to fully understand what's going to happen to football in general.

"There are going to be a lot of structural conversations in the next few months“

Interesting read in the Guardian that touches on this ... mentions how elite sport does nothing to inspire us to sporting participation, despite what they claim.
