Rick Giles has left West. Matt Down has left North, so has Daniel Ward. Has Charlie Sharples left Sturt? I see he is in the squad to play in the QAFL with the NT Thunder.

I think Ric Giles was told to leave he didn't leave on his own accord.

Giles couldent even get a game in the Eagles B grade team when he was there

It appears, looking at Punk roosters post with the ins and outs thus far that recruiting may be getting quite a bit harder. Probably Norwood has excelled re recruits and Birss I think will be a stand out. I think the salary cap, transfer fees and what delisted players are asking for is starting to bite.

I think he knew that! Archard is having a 4 week break for personal reasons but will line up in Red and White in '09.

Don't think Vallejo is out there. Somebody did say that an ex Norwood fringe player from a year or so ago, Brad Vassal, is training with Sturt.

I think he spent a few years on Freo's rookie list and come back to SA this year and played for SHOC's.
