Why don't you go through the ins and outs and list what you think they are worth?
Cachia is probably the only one who I'm not sure on and reckon he would be on a bit but Fuller was offered good money by 2 VFL sides but chose to come home, Kirwan and Wilson also returning for a fraction they could get elsewhere and in Wilson and Fullers case they would be aiming to get back on a AFL list and believe they can play their best footy back home. Lost a fair bit of quality in the offseason and for some of the players coming in money isn't the only factor. LJ is one who could earn a fair bit more elsewhere but due to several other factors have decided he wants to play at Norwood. Obviously this all depends on an agreement being reached over the transfer

A quick copy and past job, if you think they all play for the jumper at Norwood or you where way under the cap last year that's fine. You're obviously going to defend your club but it looks like you would be paying more than last year already and that's before LJ comes in imo.

Coming: Going:
Jaryd Cachia (Richmond VFL) James Allan (retired)
Andrew Kirwan (returned) Luke Surman (Hawthorn) - JUNIOR?
Matt Fuller (Western Bulldogs) Michael Newton (country Victoria)
Josh Miller (Glenelg) Luke Partington (West Coast) - JUNIOR?
Anthony Wilson (Adelaide) Mitch Wilkins (Melbourne)
Luke Mitchell (North Adelaide) Kane Murphy (Sydney)
Jake Sutcliffe (Adelaide SANFL) Liam Davis (overeas)
Lyndon Hupfeld (GWS Academy) Tulio Dematteis, Mitch Wicks, Luke Thomas. - WHO?

We're bringing in mostly returned players that whilst not min wage players, would play for less than if they went to other clubs via the open market. We've also lost 2/5 and 3/8 of our highest paid players. Nice beat up.

JK aka JOKING, .......
Do you think the rest of us can't see the obvious? Please, your embarrassing yourself
Your mob haven't missed a chance for an upgrade player yet! How can that be with a salary cap in play?
The best example now is McMahon goes to Sturt..... after the Eagles were in play all the way but have to decide on O'Brien at 22 yrs
or McMahon at the back end of a fine career being 29 yrs.
Both would have been ideal and the Norwood way, but we ain't dealing from the bottom of the deck!
The League shouldn't allow Golden Balls to play for a low $ contract when everyone knows it's BS ....

What you fail to realise is that Newton was in the top 10% of salaries in the comp. Jimmy was also well paid. LJ, Cachia and probably Fuller combined wouldn't equal Newtons wage.
Eagles supporters should be the last to throw stones, I know exactly what O'Brien is on and he would now be close to the highest paid player in the comp.
There is also no law about top ups from employers as every club does it and rightly so

Santa coming early to the Parade. WTF.

People forget McInnes (because he didn't play a single league game thanks to injury) who would have needed a decent deal to beat off other suitors and relocate from Melbourne.

Your point is correct though - We'll defend it, those outside of the club will argue their case too. Makes it a kinda pointless argument I suppose

I'm going to suffer from sleepless nights with opposition clubs and their supporters "angered" with our recruiting and debating whether or not we're under the salary cap.

Glenelg just signed a good lad, and IMHO a good player.

REINBRECHT ON THE MOVE
22/12/2015 11:13:25 AM

The Norwood Football Club would like to inform our members that Dylan Reinbrecht has received an offer to move to a rival SANFL club which he has accepted.

In his post season review Dylan expressed a desire to play league Football week in week out to senior coach Ben Warren, and as such has decided the opportunity at another club will give him a greater chance of achieving this aim.

We understand that this has been a very tough decision for Dylan and recognise that it will be difficult for many of us to see him line up for an opposition club.

However, we wish Dylan all the best in his SANFL future, and thank him for his services over the past six seasons during his 30 SANFL League games for the Norwood Football Club.

Dylan, along with his new club will make a statement within the next couple of days.

Liam Jurrah is out of jail and wants to get back into footy. Would any of the SANFL clubs look at recruiting him or is there more chance of him playing for the NT Thunder?

Cut the bullshit, You will rort the cap again and probably win another flag. Just wish my club would do the same thing.
