How did the umps allow this? Cheats!

I can picture him out on the oval with kids running everywhere having shots at goal and retrieving his own footy...

That is what has been good about our players over the past three weeks, it is the Glenelg supporters who are gettng excited, the players aren't. They appear to know that they still have a long way to go yet and need to stay focussed.

Tomorrow we'll see if that is the case.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I think this game could go either way, but it will be a lot closer than 40 points. Should be a great crowd. Really looking forward to it.

Sturt will win only because of the fact Glenelg wouldn't want to help North!

I was seriously thinking about going to this game instead of Prospect as IMHO it has a lot more bearing on North's season now than the game at Prospect does.

Go you Bays!!!!

PS Im heading out the back now to clear all the shrubbery away from the house to make Punk's job harder.

PPS There's another good one for a sig!

By Sturt winning it will mean north will glenelg in the first round of the finals (elimination) by Sturt losing it will mean north will play the eagles in the first round of the finals (double chance) what would be your preference Wedgie?
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.

sturt1

wedgie would probably hope North play the Eagles in the first final, because surely the recent game at woodville with all the free kicks would be in the umps minds - if the same ones of course - and they would do something to rectify that and level it up and give North all the free kicks in front of goal.

FINAL SCORE
Glenelg 20.11.131
Sturt 15.7.97

"On the prowl" you reckon Saintal? Bloody oath! I heard the Blues kicked the last five of the game to make it look respectable. Full credit to the Bays today for keeping their run going, and carrying it ever closer to the finals. I am expecting to read a bit about injuries when the reports come in today. Of course I wasn't there, and didn't hear any of the game owing to work, but on the face of things a team can only beat whoever's out on the park with them, and that was Sturt today, injuries or not, it would have been very easy for the Bays to say they have earnt their spot, they can't go up or down from here, so what the hell. Sturt had a lot more to play for but couldn't bring it home.
I hope the lads that couldn't play today, and those that only played half a game come back soon, I don't think we have the depth to cover these outs, and next week's clash with North is now a fight for 3rd on the ladder, in effect, our finals start a week early, but it looks as though we are more injury riddled than at any time this year. No excuses there, just a statement of fact, and a hope that we can get some of these blokes back, because I think it is pretty well known that we don't have the depth to cover the loss of key position players.
Again, well done to the Tigers, I heard there were queues of about 100 yards outside the ground as the game started. Chambo got his 100th, so congratulations to him and nice to get that out the way before we get too deep into the serious stuff. Pity we couldn't celebrate that with a win, personal achievements tend to be a bit sour when the team has lost. But I am looking forward to hearing the reports from people who actually went, though I heard Sturt were pretty abysmal...
Come On You Blues! Don't let it slip!!! Too much good work has been put in this year to let it all go down the gurgler. Hit back Blues!!!
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
