Has Mattner qualified? I thought he's only played one game? Him missing Saturday wouldn't count as a game would it?

The Eagles can add Cooper, Passador, Pedler and Vince to the 21. Plus we played with 20 players for most of the day and Inkster and McKenzie were playing their first games in a long time. Improvement left for both sides I would imagine.

Mattner didn't play for Sturt on one week he was dropped from the crows because we had a bye...I think it counts as a game, although I stand to be corrected.

Purch no offence but get ready for the normal crows message during finals " he can not play he needs an operation " or words to that effect.

Mate, we had Sheedy (Bruised back/corked buttock) and Evans (Kick to shin) both injured by quarter and half time respectively so I think that evened itself out.

Mattner has qualified and looks a fair chance to play the year out with us.

You count those as injuries? In that case, we had one player with a broken fingernail, another with a stubbed toe and three players who bent their fingers back. All in the first quarter!

Mattner's trip as cheerleader to Melbourne on Sunday counts as an SANFL game, this was the same situation as Robert Shirley a few weeks ago.

That's just plain stupidity mate.

I will concede that Evans' injury was manageable but Jade Sheedy did not make it back to presentations he was in that much discomfort. By all reports he was in a lot of pain after the game and was icing heavily. It definitely affected his performance, or lack thereof.

You were at the game I take it buddy, you saw how Sheedy played!

LMFAO, fingers bent back!! - Some princesses need to toughen up.
Just saw the stats in another post and sturt kicked four goals to one from frees and shoud have had five if gas kicked his free in the square, I think he was pumped after kicking his 400th goal for the blues.

Regardless of who saw how who played, I'd have thought a coach would not blame injuries on making his midfielders tired and being the cause of the loss??? Didn't I read about how fit sturt are in the last few weeks with a big article on why they are top two.
