This is my point, he's played 34 games and all the talk about him you'd expect him to be on an AFL list . Unfortunately thats a dream he will never acheive, to short, not skilled enough, not smart enough to paly midfield and his mindset i reckon is pretty bad if he doesnt get a couple early.

Reckon you have taked more about him on this thread than anywhere else I've seen in the last couple of years.
Trust the process.

Well he is not alone on here. One no longer posts and many from the Tiges always do it.

He obviously knows the player and has an opinion.

Serious Question Ramrod - I have read your posts with interest.
As I no longer watch (or have anything to do with WWTFC) I am interested in the following comparison:

I always believed that Goldsworthy was a similar type to Stokes - small forward, good pace, good disposal & being a left footer (which appears desirable to AFL recruiters) - I wondered why he was overlooked in any Drafts.

Although (at his best) not as old as McGregor;
1. Did you rate Goldy - in terms of AFL Rookie List @ least?
2. Compared with McGreggor, which is/was the better player between the two?

Finally at least someone who actually asks for some decent feedback. I was at the Sturt game and I was extremely impressed by Goldsworthy very silky skills, again probably a bit small for AFL footy. without doubt Goldsworthy is a better footballer than McGregor, I find it interesting people are saying the conditions were poor and that's why Loccy had a bad game, now I'm sorry if your small you have to dominate those games. If you look at modern football all guns midfielders are over 6 foot. Ultimately both those players are two short and probably don't have the leg speed. But if I had to pick, Goldsworthy is the better player and a better chance to get picked up.

Probably a good thing you didn't see Goldsworthy's game against North, had a very quiet day by his standards, but everyone is going to have an off day now and then. Think McGregor is the type of player we have been missing up forward since Tim Inkster retired.
Trust the process.

You mean like your feedback (read opinion) has any more validity than anyone else's.
Not the least bit self opinionated then

Yes correct everyone is going to have a bad day, but i just believe Goldsworthy is a far more versatile player than mcgregor, and to be honest if mcgregor had the ability to play half midfield, half forward i may change my opinion on the kid.

In my fantasy internet world I played 284 games for the Crows after serving my apprenticeship at South with 632 League appearances.

Hey, little dolly with the blue jeans on
I wanna ramrod with you honey, till half-past dawn
Let your hair down sugar and pick up this beat
Come on and meet me tonight down on Bluebird Street
I've been working all week, I'm up to my neck in hock
Come Saturday night I let my ramrod rock

She's a hot stepping hemi with a four on the floor
She's a roadrunner engine in a '32 Ford
Late at night when I'm dead on the line
I swear I think of your pretty face when I let her unwind
Well look over yonder see them city lights
Come on little dolly 'n' go ramroddin' tonight

Come on, come on, come on little baby
Come on, come on let's shake it tonight
Come on, come, come on little sugar
Dance with your daddy and we'll go ramroddin' tonight

Hey, little dolly won't you say you will
Meet me tonight up on top of the hill
Well just a few miles cross the county line
There's a cute little chapel nestled down in the pines
Say you'll be mine little girl I'll put my foot to the floor
Give me the word now sugar, we'll go ramroddin' forever more

Unlikely - don't think 'Grave Danger' would be a Norwood fan
Did Granger play State Footy? I can't recall him playing - maybe v WA or VFA?
