quick query on Michael Godden ... any reason he hasn't posted a post game review since round 2?

I assumed he was grumpy about the 0-5 start, but the ressies have won the last 2.

No idea, but I spoke to Godds last Friday and he was his usual chirpy self, and we had a good talk about form and the lineups for the game against North !

He'd be the one of the nicest blokes at the footy club, always says hello, and always up for a chat if you see him!

Agree with as far as reactions go, noone reacted except for the umpire, that's what worries me with these sort of rules is that they just go on what someone thinks they hear which in my experience can differ greatly especially in the middle of a sporting contest.
If Wade heard nothing untoward (which I'd suggest by his reaction), noone else heard anything untoward and Todd says he said nothing untoward then its a non issue and it's a good result if all involved can move on.
So many times in this day and age common sense isn't shown but by all reports it looks like it will in this case and that's a very good result IMHO.

Good to see common sense prevailed and it was all sorted out...

You can understand in the circumstances why he was initially reported but good form Grima, the Bays and Thompson from North that he was cleared of any wrong doing...

He pleaded "guilty to misconduct for using abusive, obscene language".

What is the point of that charge and finding??? They would have to report 3/4 of the players from every game every week for similar. As he was cleared of the racial charge which was what the original report was about why bother whether he swore or used obscene language for FFS!

How so ? He was found not guilty from the original charge laid that of racial vilification.
They just laid another charge about the foul language, to save face from an absolutely
ridiculous report in the first place.....
