What's the way someone played got to do with how they might coach?

And Im pretty sure you'll still see some new faces at Norwood next season UKF

I'm not talking primarily about his playing style, but about other aspects. Best though to leave it at that in fairness.
I trust though, as with any coaching role, it is not a foregone conclusion and plenty of applicants are looked at if that is where Norwood is heading. Just my opinion but Peter Rhode was Norwood's last quality coach.

To graham
We don't want ya sympathy, or ya praise, but i can tell you that there is alot more improvement in our game as well. I am dissapointed that we lost the game not satified that we almost beat the best team going around. I believe that we lost the game not, not you won the game. 3 bad skill errors from 3 three very skillfull players (not just average players) was the difference in the end. Any team that has momentum in a game tends to have lose numbers around the ground. I thought that we matched you in most of the areas that you are good at, which is most.

Watched the replay
LAST 10 minutes
2 things stood out
NW mistakes which allowed CD to kick the thier last 2 goals
CD magnificent defence which held up NW attacks several times

NW lost it rather then CD won it

I think what also stood out for four quarters is Central 16 13 v Norwood 17 6. Norwoods straighter kicking gave them a chance. If Norwood had kicked inaccurately it may add some strength to the discussion.

I don't think that you can pick out a few mistakes and say that cost Norwood the game. Overall I thought that their skills were good as evidenced by their superior kicking for goal and their great tackling. If anything the game was lost when the doggies got on top in the first half and kicked easy goals but when a game is won by 1 point then you have to say that it was pretty even on the day. If Norwood can keep improving then they will win more games than they lose and will be a force this year. I am sure that Laird will be wanting the dogs to improve gradually until finals time.
We used to be good :-(
