Yep, I've heard all about it on this site, but if the Board knew about Jarman leaving commitments and other things that Wedgie alludes to, surely they should have made more of a stand before reappointing him.

I know about some of these things you allude to. I'm sure there are many that I don't know about. What motivates me to question North fans on this site, is that you all think the public airing of all of this "dirty laundry" is going to somehow benefit the club.

Im my opinion and that of many others if you bring issues to the forefront they're more likely to get addressed, a lot of people involved with the club would love their dirty laundary not aired at all, it'd mean they'd be in a job for life even if the club did get nowhere. Early on when there was the occasional issue I agree to keep it in house is the way to go, we've kept 95% of happenings in house (so you could well imagine how many issues there have been), but when you see the softly softly approach not working and if anything sending the club backward the only thing for a true loyal supporter to do is to bring issues to the forefront.

When the Bays hit their lowest ebb a few years back, many of us supporters banded together and wrote a list of issues to the Board, which were responded to individually.

We've been there and done that many years ago, that too was our first approach, it failed, we moved on to another way forward.

If Jars is as bad as you all think he is, why did the Board/Club Administration reappoint him for this season? Public slanging on footy forums is not the way I would go about it, IMHO.

Personally I agreed with the reappointment, but it was a very VERY close thing, IMHO you only sack a coach if you have someone that will do a better job, IMHO (and in the boards) that person wasnt availalbe at the end of last year, so Jars was reappointed for another 12 months.
This is a form of media and being responsible for this site I'll pass information onto others, its what this site is for, keeping people informed about are great comp.

But why would you listen to me? You think I'm merely trying to wind you all up...often I am, and often you easily take the bait...but when it comes to discussing Jarman, I'm simply asking questions and showing my surprise at the comments made here.

On here we all love our SANFL, why can't you show a bit more respect to your fellow poster and just enjoy a great site where we have an outlet to discuss our great competition. You come across with a huge chip on your shoulder and a lot of anger. Enjoy the comp, enjoy the fact that your team is top and playing great footy, why get bitter and angry for no reason? Life is too short my friend.

That's the real problem North have at the moment, there has been complete incompetence by many people involved with the club in various capacities, ideally eventually all of those will be gone but I can't see a way of getting rid of all of them. It wont be ideal but some board members and administration will have to stay with the club in a transition period as you can't just get rid of all the deawood at the same time when its accumulated at such a rapid rate.
Its a real issue and one that means North won't be a force again for a number of years yet.
Personally I'd start with the coach and a couple of board members, ideally some of the assistants will stay on, Im 50/50 on the football manager. Eventually a complete reshuffle of the board, a new CEO, a new Coach and a new Football Manager but that would have to happen over an enlongated period to avoid a complete implosion.

Look Mickyj , with each underperformance & baffling team selection , the pressure on the Board is mounting & if Ron decides to walk , they have to be prepared straight away to have R----- P---- READY so we dont get caught out with B grade recruits (we are already stacked to the top of the grandstand where you sit ! ) . If the Board forget R P s rather lethargic leaving when he was marketing guru , I think its a simple case of right man at the right time . He ticks every box you can come up with & with Mark Jeffries along side , would be just what we need to reinvigorate the whole club from top to bottom ! You want PASSION & DETERMINATION ........ask Jarrod Wright for his opinion if your not sure ! Its so obvious its scarey ! Les its time to forgive & forget for the sake of the clubs evolution ; a couple of young guns coaching under the stewardship of our seasoned Board would be exciting times for all !

I wouldn't mind RP as coach, not at all. But does RP want to coach though? And are there any other suitable coaches who are looking to coach?

Great thread and discussion, now we sit back and wait to see what happens as far as next year goes, i for one have my opinions on the coach, the board and some of the playing group at the NAFC, alot that can not be published,l I know one thing though, the one bloke alot want to coach out there next year wont because he doesn't think he is quite ready just yet and he has been mentioned in this thread. I'm with Wedgie on this I reckon Dave TILLER is the man for the job with Scott Peters and Darryl WINTLE as his assistants, and of course with help from Lads40

I don't actually love the SANFL. I follow Norwood and it happens to be the league they play in. Sometimes this involves 'competition' and trying to 'beat' the opposition. Occasionally you might even need to 'h*ng sh*t' on other clubs and their supporters because that's what you do in a 'competition'. I actively dislike about, let me count them, eight clubs in this league my team plays in as they're the only thing standing between my club and the premiership. Other than Trevor Hill of course.

Stick your love-in up your jumper, I'm making a stand for petty bitterness and impotent rage against the other eight clubs.
