Great result, was dreading this one, but its still only one game we have pegged back from those we shoudn't have lost, ie Port, North, Norwood.

Next week just as important

Spelly, is this the biggest turnaround by the Eagles, and what would have the previous one been?

So what day are YOU YOURSELF training at Elizabeth Dogger ? Will it be open for the other teams fans to watch or will it be a closed training session ? :D

Thanks tigersupporter, I appreciate that mate, I guess I like to think I'm a bit of a wordsmith but I really just write how I feel... Probably say too much at times but that's because I'm so passionate about footy and the Dogs. Really enjoyed doing the radio cross yesterday with "Around The Grounds" for LifeFM again as well

The umpiring was a hell of a lot better than the game against your mob (mainly because there was no Rowston or Dey !!) but you hardly even noticed them because the Eagles were playing such free flowing, running football and were the first to the ball. We've got a long way to go !! :?

GO U DOGGIES... :(

No mate i am still trying to get to Woodville for a training run . Not for myself mind you as Big Phil will tell and that picture i posted prove to much grey on top .Yes I am a wuss
I am rather interested to know what Ron Fuller said to the boys to get them to play so well .
I could have guess and either be way off or spot on .And if I was spot on would not like to say out loud or online for that matter.

No, not quite. The club record is 186 points:

Central 3.1 10.6 14.6 23.9 (147)
Eagles 1.4 4.5 8.7 9.8 (62)
Elizabeth, 2506

Round 12 1995
Eagles 3.6 12.9 14.12 20.16 (136)
Glenelg 2.2 3.5 4.10 4.11 (35)
Whyalla, 3212

We are certainly not the only club to have those observations. I'd call it reverse psychology.

I was certainly glad he didn't play against Port earlier in the year, helped Port get a rare win this year :)

Best effort by the Eags this year since the comeback from 5 goals down against Strut.
Al be wasted with a poor display against PAM this week. We have a very good recent record against PAM at Alberton so I'm confident it can continue.
Centrals' slow midfield helped us Saturday and as Port's isn't overly quick either, I expect the midfield to do well again.
Unfrotunately, Strut's, Glenelg's and North's midfield are not slow and expose us. We still need to recruit some quality onballers for 2009.
Passador still the best and most consistent FF at the club. What to do with Schwarze when Pass returns?
Broadbent=class, will certainly get drafted
Wright added skills and composure, very handy
Klunk gives 100%
Groecke our best CHF as he presents all day
Will be very disappointed if we lose to PAM.
Luck is where opportunity meets preparation

Umpires seem to be standing a fair way back from the play lately, but at least they weren't looking into the sun in the latter part of the game yesterday like they usually do!

Like the white jumper, but did think at one stage that a centrals player in the reserves was handballing to the umpire but it was a team mate wearing the long sleeves.
Trust the process.
