Just saw James Gowans do something very stupid. Lucky not to get reported.

Then saw Paul Thomas also do something stupid, and he WAS reported.

I don't usually talk about the umpires but over 60 free kicks in a game is definitely over umpiring.

Frees were paid for any minor contact including side on and a 50 metre penalty paid against Paul Thomas after the umpire backed into him!

Well done to Glenelg but what should have been a great spectacle was ruined by the umps for me.
We used to be good :-(

83 points, that has to be our largest margin.

Goal Scorers
Sturt - Chambers 7, Thomson, Herring 3, Coad, Crane, Evans 2, Perrie, Wicks,
Eags - McGregor, Hentschel, Rimmington 2, Geddes, Fitzgerald,

The last qtr was more of the same really, but a little slower paced. BOG, Herring, aply supported by Crane, Sheedy, Farmer down back, McLeay, Whiteman, Perrie, Evans, Chambers, Wicks. Great running play, just too strong really. Eags were smashed all day. A few triers that I have mentioned before, but just outclassed. Might be the highest score ever and biggest winning margin too vs the eags.

You are right Jimmy, and well done for being a good winner, and to your team. :)

Mmmmmm looks like Bays are the real deal.
I saw them against the Redlegs and I have never seen a Glenelg side apply so much physical pressure.
Still no one wins a premiership in June.
Dont write off the Dogs just yet.
